Can't decide

This is such a lame post but I am really curious as to other peoples thoughts about this. Baby girl number 3 is due in two weeks and we are still trying to decide on a name. We are stuck between Berklee and Addison. I like both names a lot but we are having a hard time deciding which one. What are your thoughts? Which one do you like better? Do you have any other name suggestions? I have looked at about 600 names and these are the two I like. Please give me your thoughts jsut for fun.

Baby number 3 is...

A GIRL! That makes 3 girls and we are SO EXCITED!

I cannot believe how long it has been since my last post, so sorry. It seems like so much has happened in the past few months. Kenadee turned 4 back in February and Kambree turns one next month. Kambree is crawling every where and pulls herself up on everything. She wants to walk so bad. She does not have any teeth yet. Kenadee is loving preschool and doing so well. She knows how to spell her first and last name and she is working on writing it. She loves dance and was in her first dance recital back in December. She loved being on stage, I don't think she has a shy bone in her body. I love my girls so much!

Things are the same with Dave just working and still in school. He has one more year left then he is done with school FOREVER!! Hopefully.

As for me life has been great. Just loving being a mom and all the fun things that go with it.

Also, we are expecting another baby September 23rd. It was a surprise, but now that I am over the shock I am excited. Kambree and this baby will be 17 months apart. I am a little nervous about them being so close but the more I think about it and the more people I talk to it will be great and it will be nice to have the kids a little closer together. Kenadee really wants it to be another girl. We find out next month what it is going to be

It has been so long since I have posted and so much has happend in that time. Kambree is 5 months old and rolls over. She is a very happy baby. Kenadee started preschool and dance and loves them both and she is a GREAT big sister. We moved about 2 months ago. We love our new home. It is about 5 miles away from our old house. A good friend of mine just took these family pictures for us.

I love my little girls so much! Kenadee is such a good big sister. She loves Kambree so much. I cannot believe that she is going to be 5 weeks this week. I love being a mom!

Kambree Marie!

This post is long over due but life has been a little crazy around here so please forgive me. Our Sweet Baby girl Kambree was born on April 30th at 6:13 pm. She weighed 8lbs 5 oz and 20.5 in. She has auburn color hair and big blue eyes. She was two days late but she did come on her own so I did not need to be induced. She is a wonderful baby and we love her so much.

What a nice day!

My parents picked Kenadee up at 11:30 today to spend the entire day with them and spend the night at there house. She was so excited to go. At first I was a lttle nervous to have her be a way from me but then I started thinking how much fun this is for her to be away from mom and have fun with Grandma and Grandpa and then I realized that I never get a day to just me and how nice this would be so I dedcided to use it to my advantage. My neighbor cut and colored my hair today then my mother in law took me to get a pedicure. Pedicures are a wonderful thing! The last time I got a pedicure was right before Dave and I got married and now I ask myself why I did not do it sooner.
I do feel a little guilty in saying in was nice to have a day just to myself, but I needed it. Every women needs a day to herself to pull her self back together so she can be a better mother and wife. I love my little Kenadee so much! She is my best little buddy and we have a blast together and I look forward to seeing her tomorrow.

Happy Anniversary!

I have been so bad at blogging latley that I did not even blog about my wedding anniversary on my anniversary. I am a terrible, terrible wife.



On March 27th Dave and I celebrated our 5 year wedding anniversary. We actually have not done anything for it yet cause Dave was SUPER sick on our anniversary so we are hoping to do something before the baby arrives.



I just want to say that I love David so much and I am so grateful for him and how hard he works for our family. I can honestly say that marrying Dave was by far the absolute best decision I have ever made. I love him so much and have a hard time believing that anyone could make me as happy as he does.



Thanks Dave for the BEST 5 years of my life! I love you!!!

At Christmas time my parents present to all of the families was taking everyone to Disneyland and paying for eveyones hotel. All we had to pay for was food and getting to Disneyland.

It was so fun! We went the first week in February. Dave, Kenadee and I flew there which was so nice. Kenadee loved flying on the plane and did a great job.

Everyone of my sibilings and there families were able to go so it was like a big Handy family reunion. We stayed at a hotel right across the street so we just walked over. We were there two days and had a blst together. Kenadee had so much fun. She got to meet almost all the princess and she even got to wear her snow white costume one day. Two days was not enough, the second day it started raining in the afternoon and never stopped. By the time we got back to our hotels that night we were soaked, but it was so fun!

Kenadee's birthday party was so fun. She LOVES princess's so of course we had a princess theme. My wonderful friend and neighbor Mandy came over and helped me make this castle cake. Thanks again mandy for all your help. I owe you! Kenadee got a cinderella dress for her birthday so we said she could wear it for her party. My parents, my sister's family and a good friend came to the party. We missed all our family who could not be here with us.

Happy 3rd Birthday Kenadee!!

I cannot believe that Kenadee is now 3 years old. Where has the time gone. I am sad that she is not a baby anymore but I love her getting bigger. She is so much fun and lights up our life everytime we are with her. We are having a small family birthday party for her tonight with some family and friends, so I will post pictures of her birthday later.

Date with grandma!

Yesterday My mom stopped by my house and had mentioned that she was going to stop by Target the next day to buy some new pajamas. Kenadee LOVES Target and she LOVES pajamas, the moment she walks in the house she puts her pajamas on and isas happy as can be. Anyway, when she heard my mom say that she said "I want to go to Target and get new jammies". My mom asked Kenadee if she wanted to go with her and of course Kenadee said yes. Kenadee turned to me and said "I am going on a date with grandma". She was so excited about going that at 2:00 this morning she walks in my room wakes me up by kissing my forehead and says grandma Nikki is going to be here soon. She was so awake and Dave and I could not get her to go back to sleep. She ended up falling back asleep around 5am and woke up 2 hours later. It was a long night! She had so much fun going all by herself with grandma. She got another pair of princess pajamas and grandma bought her lunch. What a fun day! Thank you grandma we love you!

Christmas 2008!

We had a great Christmas. My sister and her family came up from Arizona and my brother came up from California with his boys. We had so much fun and loved seeing everyone. We missed you Steve and Jenn! Here are a few pictures of us sledding or should I say David and Kenadee sledding. There are a few pictures of us the sunday before Christmas and one of Kenadee on Santa's lap. Santa makes a special stop at our house every year before Christmas.

24 weeks pregnant!

Here are some pictures of me 24 weeks pregnant. I am in the stage where I feel great and love being pregnant. Everyone probably thinks I am crazy for loving being pregnant and I am sure as with Kenadee these feelings will change as I get bigger. I just love feeling the baby kick and all the anticipation of what is to come.

We are excited to announce....

that we are having another girl. We are beyond excited!! Kenadee has said it was a girl from the day we found out so she is happy to see she was right. We took her with us and she was so good. I think she thought we were a little crazy when we would tell her that that was the babies hand or foot. The baby was super active and then finally she calmed down so we could see what she was.

I am surprised at how many people said we were having a girl. Only three people said a boy. Again we are super excited we are having another girl, infact Dave and I both were secretly hoping for a girl but Of course we would have been happy either way. Maybe soon I will post a picture of the baby bump.

What is your guess?

We go in monday to findout what we are having and are super excited. Dave thinks we are having a boy and I think we are having a girl. What do you think we are having?

Also for those wondering Dave's mom came home from the hospital a few days ago which is great! She is still very weak and tired but it looks like everything will be fine. Thank you for your thoughts and prayers.

Dave got home yesterday from California. Kenadee and I picked him up from the airport around 12:45 in the afternoon. We have missed him so much and were beyond excited to get him home. Dave's mom is still in the hospital. Dave wanted to stay until she came home from the doctor but we have no idea when they will be sending her home and Dave had to come back to work and could not miss school. Nothing has really changed with his mom, she is still very tired and very weak. On Sunday she was able to each a sandwich which is the most she has eaten in a week. I will keep you posted on her progress.

Its been a crazy few days!

Tuesday morning Dave and I are watching the news and they say this girl was killed in a car accident. When we heard the name we couldnot believe it. We know the girl and her family. They were in our ward when we lived in Provo. Kenadee and I went to her funeral today.

Another crazy thing for the week, Dave's mom had not been feeling good for the past few days and she was having flu like symptoms not a big deal. Well after 4 days she had not improved. A friend came over to check on her and she was so weak. She ended up going to the hospital and come to find out she never had the flu her body was starting to shut down. She has now been in the hospital for 5 days and will for sure be there for another 5 days. We booked Dave a flight the day after she went in so Dave flew out yesterday morning and gets back Monday afternoon. He has just been sitting next to her in the hospital.

Halloween!

Here are a few pictures of Kenadee dressed up in her Snow White costume. We had a great Halloween and the weather was perfect! We had family and friends over for dinner and trick or treating.
